Game Recap

Brebeuf used two blocked-punt TDs in the 3rd quarter to blow open a close game and roll over 6A Hamilton Southeastern 30-0 to spoil the Royals’ senior night, and give the Braves their first shutout of the season.
Jacob Pressler, after catching Brebeuf’s only offensive TD in a 13-0 first half, blocked an HSE punt at the 6:39 mark of the 3rd Quarter, which was returned by Dillon Howell for a score. Five minutes later, Pressler got his second TD of the night, scooping Micah Jackson’s block of the next HSE punt and running 10 yards for a TD.
The Braves defense kept the Royals on their heels all night, adding 3 sacks and 2 interceptions to 3-for-13 3rd down conversions. Brebeuf’s Alex Potts was 3-3 in field goals.
The Braves host 5A defending state champ Westfield next Friday night at 7:00 in the regular season finale.
