Meet Recap

The Braves finished runner-up in the Ben Davis regional advancing the most kids to IHSAA state finals. The 3200m relay team was regional champs with Katie O’Donnell, Zoe Simmons, Mikayla Gallagher, and Katherine Modrall. Nakita Turner is the regional champion in the 100m hurdles with a 14.87. Semira Killebrew was runner up in the 100m dash with a 11.99. Mikayla Gallagher placed fourth in the 1600 with a 5:08 and also advanced to the state finals. The 4x100m relay team of Nakita, Jordan Smith, Alex Ezell, and Semira won the regional with a 47.74. In the 300m hurdles, Nakita ran well placing 5th. Katherine ran a great 2:15 in the 800m and finished runner up. Semira ran strong in the 200m finishing 3rd in 25.24. Katie finished runner up in the 3200m run in 11:14, Kate Ricks was third in 11:18. The Braves take the largest team in school history to the IHSAA state finals.
