The Boys and Girls Swim Teams traveled to Western Boone last night.  The boys team won 9 of the 12 events, but lost 104 -74.  Top swimmers were Mike Wurster, Cameron Howe, Ben Lamberjack and Jeremy Ellison.   AJ Krok was the winning diver.  The girls team won 8 of the 12 events and the meet, 104-76.  Top swimmers for the girls were Lauren Cross, Shelby Knop, Katherine Kerr, Ellie Mallon, Frannie Jo Fiallo, Jackie Gillum, Sarah Shuck and Caity Carney.  Coach Howe gives special recognition to Grace Brase for completing the “Iron Woman” swim.

The Varsity Wrestling Team went head to head with Bishop Chatard last night.  Eddie Barks and David Hubert scored pins for the Braves, who have two regular season matches remaining before the January 26 Sectional at Arlington.

The Girls Varsity Basketball Team won their eighth game of the season last night, defeating Crawfordsville, 54-38.  Freshman Savannah Davis led the Braves with a double-double, scoring 20 and grabbing 10 rebounds.  The JV lost to the Athenians in overtime, 35-30.  The Braves host top ranked Carmel tomorrow night.

Congratulations to Shine Duncan, Sean Beuhler, Sydney Ozobu, and Sterling Mitchell.  They were named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Academic All-State team.

Attention boys intending to play lacrosse this spring.  There will be a call out meeting immediately after school today in the Wellness Center Hospitality Room.

The Boys and Girls Basketball Teams are asking all students attending Friday night’s doubleheader against Guerin to participate in a WHITE OUT.  Please wear white and arrive early for the games.  A sell out is expected and doors will be locked once the stands are full.
