The Boys Freshman Baseball improved their record to 7-3 last night by defeating Ben Davis, 6-3. The young Braves overcame a slow start and a 3-1 deficit in the 5th by scoring five unanswered runs in the final two innings.  The team travels to Carmel tomorrow night.

The Girls Freshmen Tennis Team defeated Bishop Chatard last night, 5-0.  The impressive young Braves will play in the Carmel Invite this Saturday.

In case you missed it, congratulations to Shine Duncan, Sterling Mitchell, Myles Faulkens and LeVante Bellamy.  They set a new school record in the 400 Meter Relay last Thursday night at the Warren Relays.  Their time of 43.17 places them among the state’s fastest teams.  Great job Braves!

Good luck to the Girls Track Team.  They compete in the Marion County Championships tonight at North Central.

Congratulations to the Seniors on the Girls Lacrosse Team.  They will be honored in Senior Ceremonies before the start of tonight’s game with Park Tudor.

The Crew Team competed well at the Blue and Burgundy Youth Regatta in Hamilton, OH, last Saturday.  Brady Powers and Bryant Bechtold rowed to a bronze medal finish in the boys Varsity 4, Emma Strenski brought home gold in the girls Varsity 8, and Eileen Murphy coxed the boys Novice 4 to a gold medal finish.  The Braves are looking forward to participating in the Midwest Junior Rowing Championships later this month.

All boys interested in playing soccer next school year should meet in the SerVaas Lab immediately after school next Monday, May 13th.
