The 2012 Marion County defending Champions Brebeuf Braves made their debut in the 2013 tournament with a convincing win over Warren Central at their place by a score of 6-0. The first half started with an early goal in the first five minutes by the team's leading scorer Jr Jake Yerkes and saw the half end with the score of 1-0.
The second half the Braves dominated play and put away the game with goals from Jake Yerkes, a free kick bullet from Luke Sartino, a header from a corner kick by Ryan Delaney, a one on one by Charlie Dagher and finally a beautiful bender from Drew Bevelheimer.
The Braves will meet Pike in the second round on Wednesday at Pike HS at 7 pm.
