Game Recap

The Braves advanced to the Indiana High School Lacrosse Association’s quarter-final round last night by defeating St Joseph High School (South Bend) by a score of 18-10. Brebeuf will face #1 Seed Carmel at Carmel on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Brebeuf opened their tournament first round game by scoring 5 goals to St. Joe’s 1 goal in the first quarter and never looked back. At half time, the Braves led 10 – 3 and finished the game out scoring another 8 goals. Scoring was led by Will Roberts (Attack) who tallied 5 goals and 4 assists. Senior Brandon Levine had a big game scoring 6 goals to keep the Braves (Attack) in the lead. Other contributors were Will King (Midfield) with 3 goals and 3 assists; Jack Leonardi (Midfield) with 2 goals and 1 assist, Jackson Wheeler (Attack) with 2 goals and John King (Midfield) with 2 assists. Stephen Geske (Goalie) played tremendously to lead the defensive effort by producing 13 saves.
