Game Recap

The Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse Team had a slow start last night vs Center Grove. However, by the end of the game, the Braves proved that they were the better team, defeating the Trojans by a score of 18-3, extending their season record to 10-4.

The defense and offense once again were able to equally step up to the challenge and provide outstanding individual and team performances. The defense held Center Grove to only 3 goals, all of which where scored in the 2nd quarter only. The offense, while only scoring 2 goals in the first quarter, came out strong in the 2nd quarter and was able to get 9 goals by the Trojans keeper.

Senior Jackson Wheeler led all scores with 7 goals and 2 assists on the night. Senior Will Roberts was not far behind in points scoring, filling the role of feeder and tallying 2 goals and 8 assists for the night. Other contributors were Will King with 3 goals and 1 assist, Dillon Howell with 2 goals, Jack Leonardi with 1 goal, Jack Johnson with 1 goal, Matthew Marchesani with 1 goal, Michael Kennedy with 1 goal and Matthew McKay with 1 assist.

The Braves will face St. Joseph (South Bend) next. This game is Senior Night.
