Game Recap

The Brebeuf Braves boys varsity soccer team continued their winning streak by defeating the Covenant Christian Warriors by a score of 3-0.
The Braves put a strong performance against a good Warriors side that gave all they had, but Brebeuf was steady on defense and created several good opportunities to score.
The Braves opened the score in the first half when Sr Captain Michael Kersteff put a long free kick into the goal that the Warrior goalkeeper could not handle.
Alex Potts, assisted by So Seth Hall, put the ball away after a couple of moves by their defense.
The second half was dominated by the Braves and they were rewarded when after a cross into the Warriors box was cleared out and So. Kevin LeBlanc was able to volley it into the right side of the goal for the third and final goal of the game.
The Braves travel to Louisville KY to participate in the Trinity Catholic HS tournament this weekend.
