The Brebeuf Jesuit girls soccer team closed its regular season in fine fashion Saturday afternoon with a 6-0 road victory on a very hot day at Westfield. The victory was the sixth straight shutout win for the Braves, who are now 13-0-1 this season. Brebeuf has now gone four full seasons without a regular season road loss (21-0-1). Brebuef, the three-time defending champion, will start Marion County Tournament play on Monday at Pike.
Senior goalies Reni Osuntokun and Chloe Levine each played a half in the shutout win for the Braves.
Against Westfield, senior Hope Edens had two assists while freshman Courtney Kelley, senior Sylvia Soria and senior captain Hallie Pearson each contributed a goal and an assist. Brebeuf, which had a 2-0 lead at the half, also got goals from junior Brianna Arthur, freshman Gabbie Lindeman and senior Caroline Bice.
