As the great tennis coach, Kurt Earhart always professes, "Learning is Winning". Tonight was a greet example of that. #1 vs. #2 in Indiana Girls High School Tennis faced off tonight and it did not disappoint. 2 of the 3 deciding spots were determined in a third set with one going to a tie breaker at 6-6 in the 3rd to determine the ultimate team winner. Could not have been any closer. Guerin ultimately prevailed, but as Kurt said, Learning is Winning. Especially our freshman playing varsity positions tonight got to experience a high school tennis environment at its best. I think both teams are hoping for a rematch in the State Tournament in a couple weeks. Congrats to all the girls and both teams for an epic night.
