The combined Freshmen JV Football Team ended their season in a shootout with Shenandoah last night.  The Braves defeated the Raiders 62-41 in a high powered offensive attached led by Luke Iffert, DeShawn Blakely and Sam Snyder.  The Braves finish with a winning record of 7-1 and take a supporting role in the Varsity’s preparations

The Varsity Football Team’s Senior Celebration was slightly spoiled by Friday night’s loss to Concordia, 34-27.  The back and forth game was not decided until the game’s final seconds.  The Braves end the regular season with a winning record of 6-3 and will start state tournament play this Friday night at North Montgomery High School

The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams both advanced to this Saturday’s Regional after fine team performances at last night’s Brebeuf Jesuit Sectional.  The girls placed fourth as a team and were led by All-Sectional finishers Susan Fisher, Katie Owens and Caroline Garau.  Zoe Stein and Samantha Marks rounded out the scoring for the Braves.

The Varsity Football team improved to 6-2 last Friday night with a 63-7 thrashing of North Putnam.  The Braves will celebrate Senior Night and end their regular season at home this Friday night against Concordia.
