An all-around team effort on both sides of the ball brought the Braves ahead 17-9 against 2A Noblesville. Ground balls, saves, and shots all seemed to be clicking for a Braves squad playing their second game in four days. Quinn Fitzgerald had 6 goals and 2 assists. Connor Kafoure added 4 goals and 1 assist. Jacob Pippen had 4 goals on 4 shots. On the defensive side, George Smith had 9 ground balls to go with Colton Jung’s 8 saves and a nearly scoreless 4th quarter.
The Braves take the bus tomorrow to visit Mishawaka Marian at noon. The team’s next home game is Tuesday, May 4th against conference rival Heritage Christian at 5:30 pm at St. Vincent Health Field.
