The Brebeuf Jesuit Braves beat DeSales 5-1 on Friday.
Brebeuf got things moving in the first inning scoring one run when Jack Moroknek singled.
Andrew Dutkanych was credited with the victory for Brebeuf. The righty surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out five. Moroknek threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Moroknek recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save for the Braves.
Wilkins took the loss for DeSales. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out four.
Brebeuf scattered nine hits in the game. Nate Bingman and Danny Kirk each collected multiple hits. Bingman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Braves in hits.
