After the JV team managed to sweep the Trojans, it was varsity’s turn to play. The Braves started out sluggishly before finding a rhythm and pulled away in the middle of each of the 3 sets to pull out a 3-0 win with scores of 25-17, 25-13, and 25-11. Neither team really managed to string together many consecutive points in the first set until Tommy Dugan managed to serve well enough to let Brebeuf expand the lead to 4 points.The Braves never let them get closer than 3 the rest of the way, gradually pulling away to win by 8. Game 22 started out the same way before Eric Hau went on a good service run, allowing the team to jump out to a 4 point lead, which they kept at 2 or greater until Myles Clark went on a 6 point run, which effectively sealed the outcome. The Braves jumped out to a huge lead early as Myles Clark served tough and effectively, allowing the visitors to jump out to an 11-0 lead, which they never relinquished the rest of the match. Zuri Williams led the team with 7 kills while 4 other hitters tallied 6 apiece. Tanner Seaman led the team in hitting percentage, hitting a whopping .857 for the match. Myles Clark had 18 assists while the other setter, Eric Hau, led the team with 3 aces. Isaac Hau led the team with 14 digs while Jacob McNair led the team with 2 total blocks.
