The Brebeuf Girls Basketball team fell to Speedway on Thursday night. The Sparkplugs jumped out to a fast start, hitting 4, three pointers in the first quarter. Brebeuf regained their composure in the second quarter, but trailed at the end of the first half 14-26. The Braves struggled from the field the entire game, shooting just 20% and were unable to keep pace with Speedway, falling 36-55. Junior guard, Gabby Godbout led the Braves with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Junior forward, Temi Osuntokun led the team in rebounding with 10 and also added 8 points. Point guard, Erin Terry had 3 assists and added 4 steals for the Braves. The Braves play Herron next Thursday at home.

The Brebeuf JV Basketball Team defeated Speedway’s JV team, 42-13. Freshman guard Maciah Powell led all scores with 10 points. Sophomore, Riley Morris and freshman, Maeve Perry each added 6 points in the win.
