The girls ran so well in the toughest regional with junior Kendal Martin advancing to the Shelbyville Semi-State with an All-Regional 5th place finish and an 18:14 which also moves her into the All-Time Top 5! Other great times include sophomore Audrey Sloan who ran a 19:47, sophomore Skylar Williams at 20:25, senior Allison Caffrey at 20:46, senior Kate Crist at 20:54, junior Maya Murthy at 21:00, and freshman Kate Williams at 21:17. Awesome job girls, and remember that well over 90% of teams and athletes who were eliminated Saturday around the state won’t set running goals for next season. The ones that do are the ones who have a great shot at achieving those goals. This is a great time to start a new SMART goal for winter, next season. Also, Kendall will appreciate any fellow teammates sticking around and running with her as she moves toward a state finals berth.
